Service and Calibration

Having your confined space equipment serviced / calibrated regularly by trained technicians is essential to ensure that your equipment is operating at its optimum level and is kept within the manufacturers recommendations. This in turns insures that your members of staff are equipped with the best possible equipment to protect their safety in their job roles.

Civil Engineering Safety Ltd runs a service and calibration workshop which is equipped with all of the latest technology to enable the experienced engineers to carry out in depth services / calibration of your confined space equipment.

Civil Engineering Safety Ltd’s competent team carries multiple brand approval, which enables us to service a wide range of equipment from the country’s leading manufacturers.

Our service engineers have a vast range of experience in their field and attend regular training seminars to keep them up to date with the manufactures specifications and any changes within the industry. They not only service the equipment but have the knowledge and experience of how and where the equipment is used.

As well as keeping up to date with the manufactures specifications and recommendations we also pay close attention to any recommendations and legislation issued by the HSE. We always carry out all of our work in line with both the manufacturers and the HSE.

Upon the receipt of your confined space equipment, our engineers will inspect the instruments and provide you with a free of charge quotation. This enables you to have the full costing of the work that is required to be carried out on the equipment prior to any charges being made. We will never carry out any works on your equipment without your go ahead, even if it is a straight forward calibration. This insures that are customers are never greeted by any unexpected invoices.

Once you have received your free of charge quotation and provided us with the go ahead and a purchase order number, then all work required will be carried out swiftly and efficiently to minimise the down time of your equipment.

All of our service / calibration certificates are fully traceable and recognised.

Upon the completion of works the equipment is then entered onto our service reminder database. This enables us to pre warn you when your equipments certification is due to expire and assist you in the prevention of having expired equipment on site.

We offer a collection and delivery service nation wide, including a same day service. Alternatively you can drop you equipment into us and upon completion of the works can collect at a time that is convenient for you.

If your equipment is deemed beyond economical repair or you decide not to carry out the required works then we are happy to quote you for replacement equipment. We offer quotes for both new and second hand equipment.

If you have a large amount of equipment due to expire at the same time then we can provide you with an on site visit to minimise the turn around time to get you equipment serviced and operational. This service is only available upon request and needs to be booked in advance with the service department.
